Feeling overwhelmed and unsure how to support your child? Recently received a diagnosis? Our team provides neuro-affirming, family-focused guidance to help you develop a supportive plan tailored to your child’s needs.
💛 Our Approach
Using trauma-focused, neuro-affirming methods, we collaborate with families to create individualized plans that foster healing, resilience, and lasting change.
We provide consultative and counselling support, developing programs that focus on:
Social and communication skills
Emotional regulation and coping strategies
Understanding challenging behaviours
Community participation and inclusion
We support children and families dealing with Anxiety, ADHD, FASD, ODD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and related emotional or behavioural concerns.
BRITISH COLUMBIA:
IN-CLINIC SUPPORT (COQUITLAM)
We provide in-clinic support through our trained counsellors, all supervised by Carolina Hall, Registered Psychologist. Following assessments, our team works with your child on individualized treatment plans, addressing goals in social skills, emotional regulation, behavioural strategies, and overall mental health support. We collaborate closely with other professionals as needed to ensure a comprehensive, coordinated approach to care.
ALBERTA:
IN HOME SUPPORT (ONLY Medicine Hat, Alberta)
For families in the Medicine Hat area, we also provide in-home behavioural consultation and family coaching. This hands-on support helps implement strategies directly in your home environment, where challenges often occur — making learning more meaningful and sustainable.
What Is a Family/Child Coach?
A Family/Child Coach works alongside parents and caregivers to help translate behavioural strategies into everyday life.
Through observation, coaching, and modeling, we support families in:
Understanding the why behind behaviours
Strengthening positive routines
Using consistent, effective strategies
Building confidence in managing difficult moments
Family coaching complements consultation by turning guidance into actionable tools that fit your child’s needs and your family’s values.
