Parenting through challenging moments can feel overwhelming, but you don’t have to navigate it alone. Holding Space: Finding Calm is a 12-week group for parents and caregivers who want to better understand their child’s behaviour, strengthen connection and co-regulation, and build practical strategies for everyday family life.

What We Will Explore Together
Across 12 structured weekly sessions, our Registered Social Work facilitators guide caregivers through practical, compassionate strategies rooted in brain development and relational connection.
Topics Covered:
• Understanding child behaviour and regulation
• Brain development and fight, flight, or freeze responses
• Co-regulation and connection
• Boundaries and repair
• Playfulness and practical parenting strategies

2. Personal Follow-Up: Our clinic intake team (Shelly for Medicine Hat or Sarah for Coquitlam) will contact you directly.
3. Confirm Your Spot: We will confirm space availability and review payment, insurance direct billing, or invoicing options with you.
4. Welcome & Access: Once confirmed, virtual participants will receive secure access links prior to the first session, and in-person attendees will receive clinic arrival instructions.
