MEET SHELLY!

ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT

Shelly grew up in a small farming community in Saskatchewan. After graduation, she chose to relocate and made Medicine Hat her home. After many years of working at a local business, she decided it was time for a change and pursued a new opportunity where she could contribute in a more purposeful role. With extensive administrative experience, she takes pride in ensuring the office runs efficiently while maintaining a welcoming environment. Being part of Creative Minds has been a rewarding experience, surrounded by a wonderful group of individuals.

In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, reading, and going for walks.

Meet Michelle, our very own Registered Psychologist!

Michelle moved from Nova Scotia to the sunny city of Medicine Hat. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Sociology from the University of New Brunswick and her Master of Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University.

Michelle is passionate about supporting children, teens, and adults in developing the skills and confidence to overcome life's challenges. She provides compassionate, evidence-based care tailored to each client's unique needs.

Registered Social Worker

Meet Marilyn, our experienced Registered Social Worker!

Marilyn has worked in mental health and social services for many years, with previous roles as a Justice of the Peace, Public Complaints Director, Intake and Crisis Therapist, and Clinical Social Worker. She has experience supporting individuals from ages 5 to 93.

She earned both her Bachelor of Social Work (Honours) and Master of Social Work (Clinical Practice) from the University of Calgary and is authorized to perform Restricted Psychosocial Interventions through the Alberta College of Social Workers.

Family Coach
Master of Counselling Psychology Student

Sky completed her Bachelor of Health Sciences with a major in Addictions Counselling and has extensive experience supporting children, youth, adults, and families across a variety of settings. Her background includes working with schools, autism and developmental disabilities, addiction recovery, domestic violence shelters, chronic homelessness, and youth and families with complex behavioural and mental health needs.

Sky is passionate about providing compassionate, person-centred support and helping individuals build confidence, resilience, and meaningful change.

Meet Rachel, our Registered Social Worker!

Rachel completed a degree in Kinesiology before earning her Master of Social Work. She has experience supporting children, youth, and families and is passionate about building strong therapeutic relationships through a compassionate, client-centred approach. Rachel believes every person has unique strengths and enjoys helping clients identify and build on those strengths to achieve their goals.
